African Fashion Week

Two weeks back marked the third edition of  African Fashion Week in Edmonton. It was two nights filled with traditional African glamour and not only did the models put on a show, but so did guests as you can see from the photos above. The theme for the first night was Afro-Fusion aimed to represent African designers who add more of a modern twist into their garments. The venue was at Weber Mercedes in the main showroom where models put their best foot forward in vibrant colored dresses, white dashikis and all black garments head-to-toe.  With my media pass, I wandered around the venue and captured shots of the fashionable attendees, models and some accessories from a few pop-up shops. Enjoy the recap!

Camille created this blog to document her experiences whether it be through her street style, travel destinations and creative collaborations. Growing up, Camille came in contact with many insecurities and was afraid to show who she was to the world. Since starting this blog, she is able to empower not only herself but those around her. Whether it be her vibrant street style, places she travels to and creative projects she takes on, this blog is a visual documentation of her experiences. She hopes to provide readers with more visual content plus inspire young creatives to style style their lives to the fullest!
