Black-Out Period

Hey ya’ll! As you can tell by the title, this girl goin back to her black roots. As of last Sunday, I finally went back to jet black hair for the purple highlights made me look like the spokesperson for Strawberry Shortcake. I swear whenever I color my hair black, I go through a phase where I wear all black and to be honest, I love the simplicity that comes with rocking black attire. I don’t like to wear pieces that are distracting for I want to keep my look as simple and sleek as possible. Speaking of the two terms, for today’s fit, I kept it modern with a crop top and a panel skirt. The dopest part about this outfit is the crop top for it has two strings attached on both sides that can be wrapped around the stomach to provide more texture as well as an interesting visual. These tops can be worn with high-waisted jeans, shorts, and in this case, a fly skirt that can be worn in multiple ways. The look was kept sporty thanks to a pair of classic Adidas Superstars, shhh… don’t tell Nike. Man it feels good to be back to black attire, all thanks to the lion’s mane that resides on my head.
