“Hold up, I ain’t tryna stunt man,

But the Jumpwoman jumped over the Jumpman.

Jump•wom•an: a female who is undeniably fly (fashionably, mentally, spiritually) who knows her worth without having to compare herself to anyone else. She is her own competition and her potential has no limits.

Look, I got love for Kanye don’t get me wrong (although his recent tweets are questionable), but ya girl had to switch up his New God Flow verse for this one. Don’t get me wrong, I am living for all the Jordan Brand releases that have dropped this year, but what makes me most excited is seeing the brand release sneakers and collections that cater to women. From Aleali May designing the Shadow Satin 1’s, the release of the #SeasonOfHer collection, to the upcoming release of the WMNS Satin Shattered Backboard Jordan 1’s. It’s safe to say that us Jumpwomen are here to stay when it comes to being represented in sneaker culture and I wanted this look to exemplify that. I whipped out the Jordan 1’s from the Season of Her collection in the Sunset Tint colorway and paired it with my cropped Air Jordan tee with the original logo at the front. I normally don’t wear pink, yet alone rock pink kicks but these babies were too cute to pass up. The embroidered swoosh adds a luxurious touch while the satin and suede take center stage. Talk about a perfect color match! Upon seeing these images, it reminded me that us women can fly like Mike. We can fly like Maya Moore. We can be fly like Vashtie Kola and Aleali May.  Our fly has no limits.

Oh I almost forgot, the #ShesGotSoleXO series will be starting back up again and I cannot wait to show you some more fly gals in kicks. And ladies, be sure to use the hashtag #ShesGotSoleXO in your sneaker pics on Instagram so I can show ya’ll some love. ❤

Don’t forget to style on!
