Recap: Sole Good 5

Hay ya’ll! Hope you are are staying blessed and fresh! And speaking of those two terms, I had the chance to vlog Sole Good 5, a local sneaker convention that allows sneakerheads to buy, sell, trade, and flex their freshest kicks and streetwear garments. It was my third time attending this year and with each Sole Good event, community gets bigger and bigger. I figured that since I would be launching my Youtube channel this month, why not capture the vibe? I met up with my girl Yasmin, founder of Outro Clothing and together, both us and our soles got to take in the vibe, and we got it all on video. From interacting with local vendors to meeting more local sneaker lovers.  We saw Jordan’s, Bapestas, and even the Jeff Staple Pigeon SB’s that caused sneakerheads riot just to get a pair on their release date back in 2005. Sneakers are staple when it comes to styling outfits and with Nike and Adidas dropping heat on a consistent basis, it’s hard not to miss the releases. Plus it was a perfect opportunity to interact with some sole sistas and get their take on what it’s like to be a woman immersed in a male-dominated culture. And with any sneaker convention, you’re bound to pay resellers price. Kind of like the $450 pair of Satin Shattered Backboard 1’s that dropped in womens sizes this summer. From Off-White sneaker raffles to capturing fit pics, Sole Good 5 still kept the hype going like Jordan’s on a Saturday.  Be sure to catch the recap vlog below and subscribe to my Youtube channel for more content! & WE OUTCHEA!
